All is not perfect with the G10 but then nothing is
The Canon G10 is somewhat dystopian in its looks. Reminiscent of the classic cameras seen throughout the 1980’s, its jet black angular form is endemic of the decade in which the winds of change swept across the globe and a real cowboy ran the world for a few years.

The LX3, for all its sheer brilliance was let down by the awkward manual control of which being an extreme finger contortionist is required. I think aside from the slight distortion of the lens, the G10 is a beast of a camera and given that these issues can be put right in post processing I could and should consider it a moot point.
