I can now always have a camera with me
DSLRs are excellent in terms of image quality but you can’t exactly keep one in your coat pocket! So the Canon G10 will be great for that.
As well as this I have found that the more weddings I cover the less I tend to take photographs for pleasure. This has been especially true over the past few months because I have been so busy with weddings. Hopefully having a smaller camera on me will mean that I take more photographs for myself. I am particularly keen to start taking more photographs around Manchester city centre again.
